Countdown to GTA IV, What to Expect

With GTA IV almost here, I decided to do a countdown of what to expect in the last two weeks before GTA IV hits the stores.

Side note, gaming magazines will also have reviews starting sometime in Mid-April. Since I do not know the exact dates these magazines will hit the newsstands, I did not include magazine reviews in the countdown.

April 15th

RockStar Social Club Opens - Players can track their stats and compare their stats against other users from XBL or PSN. Want to see who beat the game first? RockStar's Social Club will show you. Social Club will be used for all future RockStar titles.

April 24th

Grand Theft Auto IV Guide Ships - Amazon.com Will start to ship out the GTA IV guides on the 24th. GameStop and BestBuy will be holding onto the guides until the 29th.

April 24/25

One Last Update - This has yet to be confirmed. Look for Rockstar to do one last update before GTA IV ships to retails across the world.

April 28th

Embargo is Lifted - Look for reviews of GTA IV on 28th of April from your favorite online gaming site.

A look at GTA IV - G4's X-Play will be doing an hour long preview of GTA IV. No details have been given on what will be shown on X-Play.

April 29th

GTA IV Hits Store Shelves - GTA IV goes on sell. Selected Retails will have a midnight Sale. Check your local Gamestore for details.
