Few bits of Info from Last Nights Previews
* Each site got to play GTA IV for two full hours. Kikizo were the first to do so. Four missions were played.
* The build that the sites got to play is exactly three weeks old as of today.
* Once you die and end up in hospital, you receive a text on your phone offering you to retry the mission.
* Kikizo have compiled a list of all the X360 controls. See them here.
* Only one island (Broker/Dukes) is unlocked to begin with. The other areas are blocked with police blockades. The second area (Bohan) will open up "sooner than it has in previous GTAs."
* You can drop grenades and molotov cocktails out of the car window at high speed. Headlights can be put on full beam or dipped, but cannot be turned off.
* You can pause and select a destination on the full-size map, which is then reflected on the radar. This marks the route out in blue.
* You cannot store items/objects inside vehicles.
* Cars are not customizable, but you can still save them at safe houses.
* There are eighteen radio stations in total. One is called The Vibe, which is RNB and soul. The other genres on offer include funk, reggae, jazz, dance, modern Jamaican, pop, hardcore, hip hop and a specific Eastern European station.
* Dropped weapons and other items have a yellow halo around them, and the mission markers are now yellow arrows floating in the air, pointing at the ground, as opposed to the cylinders we are used to in previous GTAs.
* A hands-on multiplayer preview will (probably) arrive next month.

GTA IV Cleared For German Release
Germany, it's OK. Despite the USK banning games like they were going out of style throughout 2007, they've managed to see fit to OK Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV for release. Sure, it's got itself a retail-unfriendly 18+ rating, but a release is a release. With Australia and now Germany - the West's two toughest nations when it comes to classification - having signed off on the game, Rockstar must be breathing one deep, raspy sigh of relief.

New Preview set for Thursday
Earlier this month we revealed that a selection of privileged websites were receiving hands-on demonstrations of GTA IV, and that previews were due to be published some time around the 27th of this month. We now have a confirmed date for those previews, and that is Thursday 28th February, which is two days from now. You can expect previews from Kikizo, GameSpot, IGN, and the usual suspects. We don't know the exact time of release yet, but expect it to be around 5PM or 6PM (GMT).

Swedish Magazine Level Info on GTA IV
- Brucie is located in the Broker docks in an abandoned warehouse. He pays Niko to kill a specific person. Niko goes to the targets house, but somehow the target manages to escape through a back door. After a long car chase, Niko does a drive-by on the target who tried to escape on foot. When Brucie calls after the assassination, he screams: "You're the man!"
- Keeping friends is very important. If Niko shows up on time for meetings, run errands and help his friends, he will get taxi service (what this means is not explained), a free helicopter and guns delivered to his home. If you can't make it to a meeting, you should call whomever you where supposed to meet, and tell that person you won't be able to meet him or her just now.
- Enemy health is indicated by a circle above the head.
- The massive weight of a car is something you really feel. Cars behave much more realistic than in previous games.
- There is a car named Contender.
- There is a place where you can rent helicopters. When Niko gets there, a man in a yellow jacket approaches him, and asks if he wants to view the city from above. Instead of replying nicely, Niko blows the guys brains out, and steals a helicopter. The Rockstar Games representatives told the previewer the following: "Congratulations! You're the first of all journalists to fly a helicopter in GTA IV! We actually never thought that any of you would come up with the idea to do that!"
- According to the previewer, you can fly the helicopter very high above Liberty City.
- The last thing the previewer did was to land the helicopter on top of the GetaLife building, stand on the 'G' in GetaLife, and snipe people on the ground.

More Details on the DLC
* It will be bigger than a lot of people think. GTA3 Vice City and San Andreas were basically expansions of GTA3. Think of the DLC that way. We are talking major expansion for GTAIV
* No price has been discussed yet. It’s up to Rockstar on whether or not they will charge for it
* If successful, DLC may be the new way to deliver GTA expansions
